Twister are a rock band hailing from Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. The band recently formed in March 2008 though the band members are all established musicians who have played in various local bands.
Baz played in another local band Idle Hands before they broke up about 2 yrs ago. JJ has gigged with many bands over the years and more recently established local band Roadhouse. Kieran has sang with both bands at some point but we have only now been able to get together without other musical commitments getting in the way.
Kieran originally came up with the idea of getting together just to record a cd and leaving it at that, but after the recording went so well and the feedback was so positive from the few people we played the songs to, Twister was born.
After the really positive feedback to our own track "A Song for a Friend" the bands intention is to write a full album of original material that is happening as we speak. For the immediate future of live gigs the band will be playing classic rock tracks from past to present and we hope anyone who comes to see us enjoys them as much as we enjoy playing them.
